Recalo + Claude

Use Recalo inside Claude

Already chatting in Claude? Ask it to save something — a reminder, a plan, a place — and the Recalo connector files it in the right spot in your library. No app-switching. Here's the two-minute setup.

"Add check-in baggage to my Oaxaca trip" — Claude routes it through Recalo and it lands in the right checklist, instantly visible in the app.

Step 1 — Copy the Recalo connector URL

You'll paste this into Claude in a moment. Tap it to select.

Connector URL https://my.recaloapp.com/api/mcp

Add it in Claude on the web

At claude.ai, in any modern browser.

  1. Open your connector settings

Click your name (bottom-left) → SettingsCustomizeConnectors. Or go straight there: claude.ai/new#settings/customize-connectors.

  2. Add a custom connector

Click the Add button (top-right of the Connectors panel) and choose Add custom connector.

  3. Paste the Recalo URL

In the dialog, set Name to Recalo and paste https://my.recaloapp.com/api/mcp into Remote MCP server URL. Leave the optional Advanced settings (OAuth Client ID / Secret) blank — Recalo handles sign-in automatically. Click Add.

  4. Sign in to Recalo

The connector opens showing "You are not connected to Recalo yet." Click Connect — a Recalo login window opens. Sign in with the same account you use in the app, then approve access. The connector flips to Connected.

  5. Use it in a chat

In any conversation, just ask — "save this recipe to Recalo" or "add milk to my groceries checklist." Claude calls Recalo and confirms with a link to the saved item.

Add it in the Claude desktop app

The Mac or Windows app uses the same connector settings.

  1. Open Customize → Connectors

Open Settings (or press Cmd , / Ctrl ,), then under Customize choose Connectors.

  2. Add custom connector

Click the + button at the top of the Connectors panel → Add custom connector. Set Name to Recalo and paste https://my.recaloapp.com/api/mcp into Remote MCP server URL. Click Add.

  3. Sign in and approve

The connector opens showing "You are not connected to Recalo yet." Click Connect, sign in to your Recalo account in the window that opens, and approve access.

  4. Enable it in a chat

Start a new chat, open the connectors menu, and make sure Recalo is toggled on. Then ask away — it works exactly like the web version.

Good to know

You'll need a Recalo account. It's the same login as the app and web app — sign up or sign in here if you haven't yet. The connector reads and writes your library only.

Works on every Claude plan. Custom connectors are available on Free, Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise. (Free is limited to one custom connector. On Team or Enterprise, an admin may need to add it for the workspace first.)

Free to use during beta. The Recalo connector is included while we're in beta — no upgrade required to try it.

Your AI does the thinking. Claude does the reasoning; Recalo just saves and organizes the result. You can do all of this without the connector too — Recalo's own AI is built in.
